Mikako and Noboru are two high-schoolers in love. But Mikako has been called up to fight an alien invasion, and she must leave Noboru behind. Even so, she leaves him messages with her love ... but while weeks pass for her, years pass for him due to the effect of time dilation. But neither aliens nor time itself can conquer true love.
